24,262 BLOCKS COULD GO 3-STOREY

More than 24,000 blocks of residential land, from Capel Sound to Baxter, will be vulnerable to three-storey housing development if Mornington Peninsula Shire fails in its campaign to reverse new state government inner city-style development rules.

Maps in the agenda for the shire’s Planning Services Committee meeting on Monday reveal the potential impact of Planning Minister Richard Wynne’s changes in unprotected residential zones.
